easter weekend. sandhills, family, and bowling.

this weekend was so fun. friday night stephanie and reese came up from riverton. jordan and i were in billings at the temple & then had to go to a friends wedding after. we had a fun night of food, fun, and laughs. oh not to mention the stories by ray (my father in law) that we have heard 900x and that get better by story! it makes for a good laugh even if we have heard them. jordan and i headed home because we were EXHAUSTED from an amazing day & me running on 3 hours of sleep the night before.

saturday jordan got up early and went to play paintball with the boys. i slept in until 11-yes 11! i usually dont do that but i knew we had a long day ahead of us! i got up and put our new fans together and got ready. while getting ready i realized i needed to sew a patch in a pair of jeans that i had pretemple... yeah-i patched it and wore them! easy fix! after we got ready we headed to castle rock.

castle rock is super cool and is located between lovell & byron
we got out to the sandhills behind castle rock with most of jordans family. we ate hotdogs, chips, and potato salad. after we ate the kids easter egg hunted-for me this was extreme egg hunting.

kaysie digging in!

this had to be the best part of the day grandma lerose and the paintball gun!
kaysie totally won (if there was even a race) but it was simply because the boys, max & hudson, (who are cousins but absolute best friends) kept giving the other their eggs because the egg was the others FAVORITE color. [cutest thing ever] kaysie is super cute-i adore her. a bunch of people climbed castle rock. kaysie's mom, jamie, took her son max up to climb and kaysie was so sad. she kept asking 'mom. mom. mom.' so i walked her up a little of the way to try and distract her-though once back at the bottom she asked her dad again, 'mom?' it was so cute. after we ate, after the kids extreme hunted for eggs, and before they went rock climbing-jordan & devin (jordans cousin) convinced their grandma lerose to shoot the paintball gun. they had this planned for sometime and were finally successful! it was probably the funniest part of the day and had all of us cracking up!! after the rock climbing jordan and i headed home. we relaxed for a few minutes then started making eggs. mine probably were the best-just saying.
ode to bryan-go COCKS

ode to bryce-go NATS!

...and of course my favorite-DODGERS BABY!

i should have taken a picture of the table because we had probably 3,000 colors and it was a MESS but ill i got were my prized eggs! we were like little kids making eggs. while we were making eggs cresta (my mother in law) made us some delicious brownies & gave stephanie and i the bowl & spatula. it was delicious. once we finished making eggs, max came over to sell us some pork sandwiches he was selling for little league baseball. [of course its my duty as a baseball fan to support the little kids-people always helped my brother so here i am to say im doing my part to do the same] anyways kaysie and max played for a few minutes and max put reeses coat on and i added the hat.

max as a mafia member
after they left we ate and then headed off to go bowling... stephanie (my sister in law) and i were a little unhappy but then we realized-we had the best people next to us.

jordan and kyle his brother
stephanies shoes-probably the only thing that glowed! because they had all the lights on! ridculous
in order: jordan, me, kyle, steph, & reese.
family.
our excitement was uncontrolable.
...there was a boy bowling next to us. he was a cowboy boots, scarf, hat & all. his name was pickle. it was pretty entertaining for us. all in all it was a very SUCCESSFUL weekend.

Sunday we woke up and attended church. after church we headed to jordans parents house for dinner which was delicious. i was exhausted. we played the worlds longest game of hand & foot ever! and then relaxed... great weekend. thanks to all the family that made my weekend awesome!
