saturday we woke up (& got a late start to billings) but had to go because bed bath and beyond sent us a KILLER offer if we came that day. 20% off everything we needed to buy. so thinking we didnt have a lot of money we took items back that werent necessities. we REALLY needed pots and pans but only got a few. so we took the stuff back and got $500 in returns. then we did shopping got it all done... pots & pans, a knife set, bedding, pillows, shower curtain, etc. the end bill ended up being around $1200. we got the 20% off and it was around $950 then the $500 brought us to $450 & we still have like 10 gift cards that are left over... im pretty excited because now we can go back and get the towels we need and a few things we forgot.
today was the first sunday of our calling and it was... uhm interesting. for those of you who dont know jordan and i were called into the nursery as babysitters. i was not happy but the kids arent too homely and are pretty cute to be honest. haha there were two kids that jordan and i kinda fell in love with-two little boys that they say never end up staying in nursery because they cant stop crying. so it was fun to play with them and get them to stay. i am excited to be around the kids and enjoy them. though the reason we are there is not appropriate, it will be birth control rather than encouragement like the bishopric counselors told us it should be.
friday we leave for south carolina and we are beyond excited to watch some baseball games and enjoy being with my family since i have been missing them so bad! he had another great weekend going 1.2 innings with 2 strike-outs, one BB, & still holding a 0 ERA. bryce was sent to a ball and it has caused an uproar because his expressed his disapproval of it. he was unhappy and had the maturity to tell them how he felt. i am proud of him because its more than i ever did when i was 18. i know they are sticking to the 'plan' but some plans are meant to be broken when the talent is better than expected. im proud of both of my brothers-i know i probably say it too much but the strength and determination they have makes me strive to want more for myself and to set goals to be the best. i love them & my dad... read this... my parents are pretty legit.... the best around.
