i had so much fun seeing and being around my mom & 2 of my brothers… yes i have more than 2. my brothers grew up with friends that were always around & though i was crazy in my teenage years constantly bugging them to stop doing so many things, they have become a part of the family. we arrived on friday afternoon in charlotte, nc. jordan and i stopped for lunch at this diners, drive-ins, and dives restaurant in charlotte called cabo's tacos. we saw it in the show a day before we left & it was WELL worth it. we loved it. jordan had the bbq shrimp tacos & i had the beer-battered white fish tacos. so delicious & extremely low priced! (not to mention quick!) after lunch we headed to columbia! i was so excited-it was both of our first times going to one a real USC game & also an SEC game. sports in the south & SEC especially are top of the line. it took us about 2 hours because we took the "long way". we picked up bryce k & head to meet my mom at the field. i was so excited to see my mom and hang out with her, i missed her so much. daddy had some back problems and couldn't make it-which sucked but i would have rather him stay home and get rest to feel better so he could go back out to be with bryce-thats WAY more important right now. the game was cool-the fans are fair-weather fans but besides that the friday night lights gave me chills and it was nice to get my hug from bryman. (my brother gives the best hugs haha) the gamecocks lost the first game to georgia. after the game we went to this restaurant called california dreaming in downtown columbia. its pretty good. i had bbq nachos that were awesome. the salad there is to die for & the serve you fresh croissants that had a frosting sort of stuff on it. DELISH! saturday we woke up & my mom and i went and got another TERRIBLE pedicure. i am on a losing streak with pedis & wish i was home because i am REALLY sick of it. we got a good laugh out of it though. after we went and bought some gamecock clothes for jordans mom and & sister in law & of course myself. we picked bryce up again & headed to chick-fil-A. (one of my favorite places & definitely needs to be a staple in EVERY city in america… down with mcdonalds and up with chick-fil-A!) we took jordan his food & headed to the game. once there i realized i forgot my id. so back to the hotel my mom and i went. jerilyn & brandeis met us there because they were out visiting his old mission area. it was fun. jerilyn always cracks me up. after that game we went to dinner at a mexican restaurant called Eric's San Jose. obviously it was mexican food & it was good & way cheap. maybe i think everything is cheap because in vegas everything is so overpriced! my mom, jordan, and i went to a cupcake place downtown in five-points that was cleverly called cupcake. the cupcakes were BOMB! i had a smote, mom had almond & jordan had a black bottom with cheesecake. they were moist & delicious. we forgot the rest in the hotel which sucks but the ones we had were super good. sunday was the last day of games but we woke up and went to bryce's(my real brother) favorite place, the waffle house. it was an old fashioned diner with awesome waffles. after we went on a wild goose chase to find t-shirts for family members… haha that was huh interesting. we finally found a store and got shirts then headed over to the game. we watched & waited for bryan to play and finally got a chance in the 7th inning… one whole batter! he struck him out. after the game we waited to head to dinner (story of the weekend) at macaroni grill. it was delicious. after dinner we went back to charlotte and stayed there.

i had such a great time with my family and though i had to say goodbye too soon, it was well worth it. its so hard to say goodbye & i definitely did not want to come back but had to… SAD DAY! cant wait to return!!
